what i’d really like is for someone to objectively watch me for a week or so and then just sit down with me for a few hours and explain to me what i am like and how i look to others and what my personality is in detail and how i need to improve where do i sign up for that
“Marry someone who lets you have a bite of their brownie, even when you said you weren’t hungry. Marry someone who laughs at the same things you do. Marry someone who kisses your nose on a cold day. Marry someone who you can watch Disney movies with. Marry someone who is proud of you whether you earn £5 a week or £5,000 a week. Marry someone who you can tell everything to. Marry someone who isn’t afraid or embarrassed to hold your hand in public. Marry someone who lets you take over when decorating a cake. Marry someone who you can spend the day in Ikea with without feeling stressed. Marry someone who wraps you up inside their coat in the winter. Marry someone who accepts your fears and phobias. Marry someone who gives you butterflies every time you hear their key in the door. Marry someone who you don’t always have to shave your legs for. Marry someone who accepts you all day every day, even when you don’t look or feel your best. Marry someone who puts three sugars in your tea, despite telling them “just the two”. Marry someone who doesn’t judge you when you eat your body weight in cookies. Marry someone who doesn’t make you want to check your phone, because you know they will reply. Marry someone who waits with you to get on the train. Marry someone who understands that you need to be alone sometimes. Marry someone who gets on well with your parents and isn’t uptight about family events. Marry someone who calms you down when you get mad about stupid stuff, and never tells you it’s “only stupid stuff”. Marry someone who makes you want to be a better person. Marry someone who makes you laugh. Marry someone who you love. Marry your soulmate, your lover, your best friend.”—
I implore you to forgive my delay in responding to your queries, which I’m thrilled to have received. Time and life got away from me, as it is wont to do.
And now to your questions:
Gingerbread: Do you like tea?
I do! I never used to like hot liquids (tea, coffee, or soup) until I lived in NYC. Winters are bitterly cold, and I found hot tea to be a delightful way to help keep warm. On my recent trip to Ireland and Scotland, where they serve tea with every meal, I discovered that I quite like tea with milk and sugar as well.
Ice: Would you rather be overdressed or underdressed fat every party?
My first instinct is to say underdressed because I’d be less likely to stand out. But I think I’d stand out either way, especially since it’d be at EVERY party, and so i say overdressed. Underdressed, I think, implies that you didn’t care enough to try.
Noell: At a movie theater, which armrest is yours?
Usually the left. For no particular reason I can think of.
Snowman: Do you like accents?
The easy answer is OMG yes! The extended answer is OMG HAVE YOU EVER LISTENED TO TOM HIDDLESTON SPeak? Or HUGH JACKMAN? Or TOM MISON? Or any of my friends from the D.R. or Australia or Mexico or Europe? AccEntS maKe mE CrAazy!!
i don’t care what happened, if a fictional character got hurt, or if an actor died, or if one of your friends made a ‘joke’ that hurt you, or you’re just having a shitty day, or even for no reason at all
The best part about Christmas is the build up to it, and doing all the fun stuff, like baking, decorating, getting presents for loved ones, getting a tree, watching Christmas movies, watching Christmas specials, drinking cocoa, playing in the snow, listening to Christmas music, etc.
“I’m a paradox. I want to be happy, but I think of things that make me sad. I’m lazy, yet I’m ambitious. I don’t like myself, but I also love who I am. I say I don’t care, but I really do. I crave attention, but reject it when it comes my way. I’m a conflicted contradiction. If I can’t figure myself out, there’s no way anyone else has.”—unknown
